Yolopic is a mobile app that uses AI to generate ID photo candidates from a single selfie. You can prepare ID photos directly from your smartphone, without visiting a studio.

The app supports a range of templates with sizes and backgrounds matched to common Japanese use cases — résumés, My Number cards, driver's licenses, passports, and visa applications. Select the use case in the app and Yolopic will generate an image close to that specification.

Yolopic generates images using AI and does not guarantee that any output meets the quality, accuracy, or formal requirements of official documents. If you intend to use a generated photo for official purposes (passport applications, driver's licenses, visa applications, etc.), please verify on your own that the image meets the requirements of the receiving institution.

• Take the selfie in bright, even lighting (avoid backlight).
• Use a plain background such as a white wall.
• Face the camera directly and keep your hair away from your face.
• Relax your expression and keep your mouth closed.

This depends on the use case. For example, glasses may be acceptable for a Japanese driver's license photo but are generally discouraged for passports. Please check the requirements of the receiving institution and match those conditions when capturing the selfie.

No. We do not use uploaded selfies or generated images to retrain AI models. For details, see the Privacy Policy.

When you delete a photo from within the app, that photo and all related outputs (previews, final images, etc.) are removed from our servers immediately. Photos you do not delete are automatically removed 90 days after they were created.

Open the menu (≡) at the top of the app and tap アカウントを削除 (Delete account).

Please note: deleting your account permanently removes every photo and generated image stored under it. This action cannot be undone.

Some features are free to use. Other features (such as high-resolution downloads) are paid, at the prices shown in the app.

Refunds for paid features are governed by the refund policies of the App Store and Google Play. We do not participate in refund decisions made by these platform providers. If a clear failure of our service prevented us from delivering what you paid for, please contact us at the address below.

If you sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account, you can use the in-app "Restore Purchases" function. Cross-platform restores (iOS ↔ Android) are not supported.
